Summer listened carefully to what we were looking for and curated the perfect getaway tailored to our preferences. The resort itself was stunning—luxurious, relaxing, and exactly what we needed—and we never had to worry about a thing because Summer had thought of it all. House of Travel and Cheree Scardina were a life line in a sea of chaos. Saying thank you to Cheree for the help, kindness, and sincere caring she gave is not enough. I know our experience without her help would have been bad. Our only daughter planned her wedding at The Valley of Fire National Park in Las Vegas. Being we live in Louisiana, no one was going to attend. My husband l decided we had to go and did not tell her. We wanted it to be a surprise. It had been 30 years since we’d flown and after looking into flights and scheduling my anxiety level increased. I decided to contact House of Travel to help. Cheree was professional, nice, and friendly. Giving her the details of what airport we would prefer using and the resort we wanted to stay at, she was able to have everything ready for my approval the next day. She handled it all and gave us travel tips about the rules knowing it had been a long time since we had flown. The flight was scheduled for Monday morning July 8th 2024. It was just our bad luck that Hurricane Berly a cat 5 was due to hit the coast of Louisiana that day and flying out of Lafayette airport became a problem. On the Saturday before our flight, Cheree called me and was worried about the hurricane impeding our travel. So she booked us on an earlier flight for Sunday and made the arrangements for the resort. We were at the airport on Sunday morning, waiting for our flight when Cheree checked in with me to make sure all was well. Then it began. The nightmare of flying. Not a fear of the actual flight but the delays and dealing with the workers of the airlines. We have traveled all over the country in the last 30 years by car. Before that we did fly several times to Los Angeles and back with no problems. I always thought it would be nice to fly and get to our destination sooner but I was wrong. 30 minutes before we were to board, the delays started coming in. Cheree immediately called me and said not to worry, she would find out what was going on

We just got back from a Viking Ocean cruise to Norway that Amy Lytle of House of Travel booked for us. What a great trip! We got to see the Northern lights several times and the ship was fantastic. Amy took care of many complicated details that made our trip stress-free. I've booked many trips with Amy and she's always knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. She's the best. I will continue to use her and I live in Boston, not even close to her office in Baton Rouge!

Thank you Cheree for planning my dream vacation to the beautiful island of Turks and Caicos; truly like paradise. You made it happen for me and I truly enjoyed it. The resort was beautiful and clean, and the service, impeccable. One of the restaurants at which I dined is an outdoor rooftop restaurant with a breathtaking amazing view of the ocean. And the spa, total luxury; the ambience, friendliness and cleanliness made it very easy for me to enjoy my deep tissue massage. Although I vacationed alone, I felt safe at the resort as the staff there was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Honestly, I’ve never seen so many smiles and people who are happy to provide great hospitality. I’ve been a client of a few travel advisors; however, I can truly say that Cheree with House of Travel is the BEST! I was surprised to learn that Cheree was able to track when my flights departed and landed to and fro. Cheree texted to check on me, which provided me great comfort. Cheree is the best. She is very professional, has a great personality and a beautiful spirit. She did an excellent job; kept me informed about everything from the beginning to the end. Cheree provided thorough explanations about everything I needed to do. As a client of Cheree, it is a pleasure, and I can’t wait to plan my next vacation with her. THANK YOU CHEREE!!

Summer Kidder - Thank You for EVERYTHING- our anniversary trip to Belize was PERFECT! You were able to change our flight last minute do to cancelations - you corrected issues at resort with ease for us and you never stopped checking on us! We highly recommend anyone and everyone who will listen to us to call you for there travel destinations!!!! Your special surprises on the trip will not be forgotten!

Cheree did an amazing job helping us book our family trip (two girls 10 & 6) to Coconut Bay St Lucia! We had an amazing time and she made sure we had reservations at the restaurants, which some of the other people we met on resort had trouble getting. She was even available when we had questions regarding our flight returning home. We will definitely be reaching out to House of Travel for future vacations ☺️

House of Travel booked my golf trip to the Dominican Republic. I worked with Summer Kidder and she took care of everything. I have never used a travel agency before, and now I don’t want to use any other one. Summer was amazing the entire way. I will recommend Summer and House of Travel to anyone I know that is wanting to travel. She made sure to check on me during the entire trip.. not too much but just enough to let me know she was there if I needed her for anything. Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic is a great resort, particularly for golf. Teeth of the Dog is the type of golf course that makes every course you play afterwards feel like a disappointment because they don’t measure up to it. Very fun trip and Summer and House of Travel made it happen. Thank you!

I decided very last minute to spend a week in Iceland. The only way this was possible for me was to rely on a travel agent who could put together the ideal solo tour. I looked around a few places and House of Travel was an easy choice. Sierra put together an amazing itinerary for me. She loaded up every little detail onto an app for me, and happily and patiently revised it for me and answered all my questions. Most of all, as hiccups arrived as I travelled she was there to help me (on a Saturday, while i was on a plane). Its probably the best customer service ive ever received. I definitely recommend them for any journey you have in mind.
